Vintage 1935 Raggedy Andy Doll Patent designed by Mollye Goldman of Philadelphia, PA. This patent was denied by the United States Patent Office as a PATENT INFRINGEMENT of John Gruelle's Raggedy Andy patent which had been issued on August 24, 1920,a good 15 years earlier. There was a court battle over the patent design that lasted a few years. Gruelle won the battle, but the US Patent Office didn't remove the Goldman design from their data base.
All patent print pages are restored and digitally enhanced to remove as many flaws as possible while maintaining the integrity of the original document.
Patent prints are a wonderful way to own a piece of history and display your favorite inventions on your home or office walls.
