Toy Bricks were originally designed by Godtfred Kirk Chrisitiansen in Denmark in 1932 during the Great Depression. In 1934 the company was named "LEGO", a contraction from the Danish phrase "leg Godt", meaning "play well". The United States Patent and Trademark office issued the patent on October 24, 1961.
This patent print is a great gift for anyone who enjoys Lego! This print shows the actual figures from the patent filed by the LEGO corporation, but LEGO has not produced or endorsed this print, nor do they have any affiliation with my shop.
